About Laughing Lotus
Laughing Lotus is tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Columbia City, Indiana. It’s a place Tiffany Herron and her family—her husband and their four kids—have built together, with love and intention. Over the years, it’s become a welcoming spot to move, breathe, grow, and feel at home.
The land is part of the experience. There’s a garden, a greenhouse, and veggie plants that change with the seasons—reminding everyone who visits of the rhythm of nature and the joy of getting your hands in the dirt.
Tiffany is passionate about empowering individuals to explore the many benefits of yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda. She offers a variety of group and private classes throughout the year, all designed to support well-being, self-discovery, and healing in a down-to-earth, inclusive environment
About Tiffany
Tiffany is a free spirit, known for giving the best hugs, and has always held a deep desire close to her heart: to be a stay-at-home mom. Raising four very different, loving, adventurous, and intelligent children into community-serving, high-value young adults has been both the greatest gift and the most meaningful challenge of her life.
Her interest in yoga began in 1996, and her first class in 1997 was an unforgettable, transformative experience—one that set the course for decades of exploration, practice, and teaching. She holds certifications in Hatha Yoga and Thai Yoga and is both an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist and a certified Ayurvedic Consultant. Her path through Thai Yoga Massage led her to Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, where she immersed herself in the study of Ayurveda through its School of Ayurveda.
Tiffany also holds a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Saint Francis. Today, she works as a Behavior Consultant, supporting individuals with autism, Down syndrome, and other neurological diagnoses. She is deeply curious about the human mind and behavior, and it’s been both a challenge and a blessing to integrate Eastern healing wisdom into this work, offering simple, effective, and accessible tools to populations that are often underserved.
When she’s not on her yoga mat, Tiffany is likely on her paddleboard, exploring in nature, thrifting, or spending time with her friends and family. She finds joy in local farmers’ markets, gardening, and preparing meals to share with loved ones. Tiffany also serves as the President of the Board for Giving Gardens of Indiana, a nonprofit dedicated to creating, educating, and connecting communities through experiences in nature.
